ESoM student ensembles perform every third Saturday of each month at the Leucadia Farmers Market located at the Mira Costa College Campus on Manchester Ave. Show time is 10am to 2pm. Come shop for incredible deals on farm fresh produce and many arts and crafts items. Grab some awesome food from a variety of vendors and visit our stage. See you there!
The Blast Big Band
ESoM Presents "The Blast" Big Band
Musicians of all ages are invited to participate in The Blast Big Band, a unique program designed to teach music fundamentals in a big band format. Students who have played saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, guitar and drums for at least two years can sign up for a weekly session every Tuesday night at 7pm at Encinitas School of Music, 775 Orpheus Ave.
Using jazz style, a truly American musical tradition, the program will include music from the big band era as well as contemporary jazz-rock sounds. Students will be trained to work in an ensemble situation, learning to play as a group. There will be clinics and performances throughout the year with the ultimate goal: to have fun making music! The fee is only $10.00 a week!
